Bio
I was raised in Dallas, Texas, where I began playing volleyball at 8 years old. My first year in travel volleyball at 11 years old I was named as one of the “Best Athletes in AAU.” I was recruited to play volleyball at Centenary College of Louisiana. I was a 4-year athlete and had a successful career. I made history by becoming the first Centenary volleyball player to record more than 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career. While there I became the first volleyball player in program history to be named to all-conference. I was also named to LSWA All-Louisiana second team. In my senior season I led the team by playing in every match (35) and set (123), finishing second in conference and placed 60th in the nation with 401 kills in one season. I was recently honored to be selected as a Legend Player to represent the volleyball program in the Athletics Legends Wrap, featured on the iconic Gold Dome gymnasium.
Although I am new to Utah, I bring over 9 years of coaching experience working with athletes ages 8 – 18. I am excited to begin my first year with the Vortex program and look forward to a great season.
One of my favorite quotes is “Success is never achieved in your comfort zone.”
