Welcome to Vortex Volleyball Club training program, Club Prep!
Our co-ed program is for young athletes, ages 6-15, who love volleyball and want to develop their skills. Your child will learn foundational skills, proper technique, team camaraderie, all while having lots of fun! Participation will help prepare young players to be competitive for club and school team tryouts.
Club Prep is a month to month, year round program much like a karate, tumbling or piano lesson class!
You can sign up your beginner athlete for a once a week, 1 hour lesson and Game days for $70 per month!

GAME DAY!
To better help each athlete be more prepared to play on a club or school team we are implementing Club Prep Game Day on Wednesdays 4-5 pm.
You will still attend your registered class time and in addition will be scheduled to play matches against other Club Prep teams on Wednesdays 4-5 pm.
GAME DAY DETAILS
All club prep athletes will participate in a tryout day (Week of May 19th) during their regular class time. They will be placed on a team with one of the coaches that usually coach that day’s class. Teams will be named A-N. Teams will be announced by email and posted in the gym. We will utilize LEAGUEAPPS PLAY APP to notify parents of the game schedules. Please download the app to your phone and use the same log in you’ve used to register your athlete for club prep on Vortexvolleyballutah.org.
If you are unable to commit to attending most Game Days please notify the coach. There are no repercussions if your schedule doesn’t allow you to participate in Game Days. Club Prep classes will continue as scheduled even if you are unable to attend. This is an additional skill builder to teach game rules and expectations.
Game days will be run and officiated by the club prep coaches. Athletes will also learn to line judge and keep score. Being a part of the work team is a skill they will need during club season!
We have several athletes in each skill level and age. We assess skill levels and group athletes accordingly.
Yes: We understand that there are busy months. Please text 385-202-3650 to request a pause.
You can cancel at anytime with no penalty or fee. Email clubprep@vortexvolleyballutah.org or text 385-202-3650 your request to cancel by the end of the month to avoid being charged for another month. If you fail to cancel before the next month payment processes, your cancellation will go into effect for the next month. There will be no refunds.
You will need to select the box stating $840 but know it is just informing you of the amount you would pay if your child stays in the program a full year. When you select the Club Prep Payment Plan, your card will be charged $60 at the 1st of every month.
