Sam is the Program Manager and Admin for F5 Athletics and Vortex Volleyball Club.

Website, Registration, Club Prep, Club communication and coordinating. 

“Volleyball is my passion! This sport has been and is my therapy when playing and my joy when coaching. I love coaching the younger kids and helping them gain confidence.

I’ve always lived in Utah, although I’ve moved over 12 times. I’m married with 3 kids, a 14 year old boy, 12 year old boy, and 10 year old girl. Some of my favorite things are gardening, swimming, color purple, smoked meats, berries, camping,  laughter and of course volleyball.  I started playing Volleyball in 7th grade. My passion for the game grew each year. I played for 3 different clubs, and 2 high schools as a setter and outside hitter. Went on to officiate volleyball from 2009-2016. In 2018 I started coaching with Vortex Volleyball Club.
