Happy Beginning of Fall Everyone!

We are now in our 3rd year of running our VRTX Friday Night Spikes on Friday nights throughout the girls’ season. Every year we have seen more teams, more competition, and we are seeing more teams from neighboring states, such as Idaho, Wyoming and Nevada, that travel in to play.

Sooo…enter your best teams and let’s have some fun!

Here are the details:

– Cost per tournament is $250, first teams to pay will secure your spot

– Tournaments will be different levels so please see the attached flyer

– Tournaments are Friday nights, so get your Saturdays back – or play in another tournament on Saturday!

– There will be pool play (game set up depends on number of teams) and a single elimination (Best of 3) tournament

– Register here on TM2 Sign: TM2 (tm2sign.com). Registration opens tomorrow, 9/27/2025

– Top 2 teams each night will win medals

– Each club who has teams entered will receive points that accumulate toward the end of season Grand Prize for the top overall team

How the Tournament Series Point System Works:

– Each team will be awarded a point value based on their Friday Night Spikes tournament finish

– If multiple teams from the same club are playing on the same night, only the team with the highest finish will be awarded points for their club to even the playing field

– Points will be totaled at the end of the tournament series, and the club with the highest point value will be awarded the 2026 club champion trophy

– The more tournaments you enter, and the better your teams perform, the more points your club accumulates

– Last season’s winner was NEVA by 10 points (or one position better placement in one tournament)!
