Elevate Your Game! Vortex Volleyball Summer 2026 Program Announcement!

Vortex Volleyball is excited to announce our full slate of programs available this Summer 2026! Whether you’re an elite athlete, a new player, or looking to play in the sand, we have a program for you.

Summer Sand Volleyball Training 2026

Focus: Intensive training to transition indoor skills to the challenging beach/sand environment. The curriculum covers sand-specific skills, strategies, partner communication, and conditioning, including mandatory tournament play on June 29th.

  • Sessions: Two 4-week Co-Ed sessions.
  • Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays, 7:00–8:30 PM.
    • Session 1: May 4–27
    • Session 2: June 1–24
  • Cost: $250 per person/session.
  • Location: Steed Park, Clearfield, UT.

Accelerator Program: Comprehensive Elite Training

Focus: A high-intensity program specifically designed for aspiring elite athletes, focusing on a meticulous breakdown and rebuilding of core fundamentals and advanced techniques, including Serving Mastery, Precision Passing/Defense, Sophisticated Setting, Dominant Blocking, and High-Powered Hitting/Attacking.

  • Eligibility: Open to Vortex and non-Vortex athletes, Ages 13–17.
  • Cost: $380 per athlete, includes t-shirt (8 weeks, 2x per week).
  • Girls Program (May 27–July 14): Tuesday & Thursday Evenings.
    • All Female Athletes: 5:30–7:00 PM (Assessment on first day).
    • A1 Invitation Only: 7:00–8:30 PM.
  • Boys Program (May 28–July 15): Monday & Wednesday Evenings, 6:00–7:30 PM.
  • Registration: Accelerator Program

Vertical Training Program

Focus: An intensive program covering essential exercises for training your Vertical Jump, with a focus on strength and technique. Last year’s participants saw an average 3-inch increase.

  • Eligibility: Boys and Girls Ages 14+.
  • Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays Mornings.
  • Boys (6 weeks, June 1–July 9): 9:00–10:00 AM.
    • Cost: $200 per athlete.
  • Girls Session One (6 weeks, June 1–July 9): 8:00–9:00 AM.
    • Cost: $200 per athlete.
  • Girls Session Two (5 weeks, July 13–Aug 13): 8:00–9:00 AM.
    • Cost: $175 per athlete.
  • Registration: Vertical Training

Summer Storm Clinic 

Focus: An off-season program focused on intensive skill refinement, advanced strategy, and physical conditioning.

    • Dates: June 8–18th
    • Schedule:
      • Girls: Monday & Wednesday, 10:00 am–11:30 am
      • Boys: Tuesday & Thursday, 10:00 am–11:30 am
    • Cost & Eligibility: Completely FREE for all athletes who were rostered and played for a Vortex boys’ or girls’ club team during the 2025–2026 club season. Please register for free to help us plan attendance.

Specialized Clinics & Open Gym

  • Free Boys Clinic
    • Dates: May 16, 4:00–6:00 PM and July 11, 9:00–11:00 AM.
  • Youth Open Gym
    • Schedule: June and July, Fridays 11:00 AM–1:00 PM (Volleytots 10:00–11:00 AM).
    • Ages: 16 years and younger.
    • Cost: $5 at the door for athletes and participating parents.
    • Waiver: Parents must register online once for waivers: Youth Open Gym
  • Skills Academy
    • Note: Details are currently being finalized. Please contact Desiree Frey for more information on the program scheduled for July 21–23.

Year-Round Programs (Available All Summer)

  • Beginner Club Prep (Ages 6–15, Co-ED): Skill development. Monday–Friday sessions available.
  • Volley Tots (Ages 2–6): Agility and hand-eye coordination class. Friday 10:00–10:50 AM.
  • Adult Volleyball Training (Beginner/Intermediate): Improve technique. Thursdays 8:00–10:00 PM ($85/month).
