Tiara Kelley

My name is Tiara Kelley, and I recently made the exciting move to Utah, eager to pour my passion for volleyball back onto the court!

My journey in volleyball began at Alabama State University, where I proudly played from 2013-2015. After my playing career, I seamlessly transitioned into an unofficial assistant coaching role from 2016-2017, already feeling the pull to guide and inspire.

My coaching career truly blossomed in Alabama, where I coached the 15’s, 16’s, and 18’s teams for the Play Like Winners Club from 2014-2018. The joy of seeing young athletes develop and succeed was incredibly rewarding.

Returning to my hometown of Amarillo, TX in 2018, I continued to fuel my passion, coaching the 15’s and 17’s, and assisting with the 12’s team for the Extreme Volleyball Club. We had some truly unforgettable experiences, including several national qualifier tournaments that sharpened our skills and built incredible team bonds. In 2019, I also had the pleasure of coaching the 16’s for Slam Volleyball Club in Dallas, TX.

When the pandemic hit, I found a silver lining in the opportunity to spend quality time with my family in Utah, and I jumped at the chance to assist at Ben Lomond High School. After taking some time to pursue my degree in nursing, I’m now back in Utah, completely revitalized and ready to dedicate myself to my first and true passion: volleyball! I’m thrilled to be back and can’t wait to share my love for the game with a new team.
